Tired of those devilish dark circles that appear on your face time and again yet? After a tiring night of work and business plans, it’s the onset of your dark circles. It cannot be avoided. You can’t avoid looking like a tired zombie. But, you can cure it. The thing with these dark circles is they tend to stay for a long time if you be friends with it. After meeting a lot of people with dark circles (trust us, we met them), we have concluded that your friend, is an enemy in disguise. It makes you look tired, sick, shabby and worn out. That’s not what friends do! You need to consistently put in a pinch of work to make sure you wave your friend off. We have put together six remedies to get rid of dark circles. Follow this.
Sweet Almond oil
Almonds have a great knack for making the skin soft and supple. Almonds have Vitamin (E) that makes the skin radiate with a glow. They also have essential emollients that kick out blackening from inside the pores and ultimately reduce your dark circles. Remember one thing to check before using almond oil is that it is the sweet oil. Almond oil comes in two types. Bitter and Sweet. Bitter oil should not be used for the skin or even internal consumption.
Method – You have to take some sweet almond oil drops and gently massage it right under your eyes or around your eyes where you have the dark circles. Do this consistently for some days until your the dark circles disappear.
Apple Cider Vinegar
ACV is a direct synonym for the elixir. They are used for various purposes right from internal digestion to skin care. They have been a significant home remedy in multiple things replacing the major cosmetics and medicines. They have been found with rich emollients, vitamins, and enzymes that exfoliate the skin from deep within. This essential remedy for dark circle will vanish your problem in few days of regular use.
Method – Apply ACV at your dark circles directly and leave them till they dry. Follow this routine for some days until your dark circles vanish.
Note: Do not get ACV in your eyes. Rinse your eyes thoroughly if you do.
This fruit is pumped with rich antioxidants like cucurbitacins, orientin, and vitexin. They are a blessing in disguise for our skin. They not only repair but also nourishes darkly pigmented skin and provide ultimate soothing to the eyes.
Method – Keep freshly cut cucumber in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Then keep it over both of your eyes covering the entire portion of the dark circle. Keep it for 15 mins then gently wash your eyes with cold water.
Kalonji Oil (Black seed oil)
Kalonji oil, known in the western world as black seed oil, is better known for it’s anti-inflammatory and soothing properties. Just like the others, it is enriched with antioxidants too which helps in depigmenting your dark circles.
Method – Mix 2-3 drops of Kalonji Oil with ½ teaspoon honey and then apply it on your dark circles. Wash it off after 15 minutes. Repeat the process every day until the rings heal.
Milk, as you know it, is known for serving various health needs. Apart from internal benefits, it also acts as a boon for your skin. It has lactic acid which plays a crucial role in making the skin firm, smooth and deduced of wrinkles. It treats your dark circles effectively.
Method – Take a cotton bowl. Dip it in cold milk and then apply to the affected area, covering it completely. Wash it off after 15 mins. Doing this every day should do the job.
Right from our age-old traditions to this day, turmeric has been rampantly used for skin brightening and lightening. Turmeric’s rich anti-inflammatory properties doubled with antioxidants provides an excellent combination for soothing the skin from its enemies.
Method – Mix almond oil with turmeric and apply the paste on your dark circles. Do not disturb it for 15-20 mins and then wash it off. Continuing this routine helps a lot!
